I have a 14 year old cousin who's trying to get her mom to allow her to get double earlobe piercings. But her mom says she's too young. What do you guys think? Is there such thing as an age limit for it?

Young children always want to try to immulate adults. Children should be taught to enjoy their childhood, not push to be makeup'd and have noserings (rebellion) in their pre-teens. Double lobe piercings are one thing, if she wanted an eyebrow ring or a big gaping hole in her ear, that would be another.
She's not asking to be a freak.

There isn't an age limit. However (in the US) at 18 and in some places 21 you can get them without a parent. As long as you have parental consent, you can get ear and SOME cartilage piercings depending on where you go. As long as the 14 year old is responsible enough to keep them clean and take care of them, I see no problem.
I just hope she doesn't get them pierced with a gun. I do piercings for a side job and guns are not sanitary or good for the piercing itself

no there is no age limit. i just think that her mom is being too protective!! there is no harm in getting double lobe piercings. now if you want to talk about too young then when their maybe 3 then yes they might be too young but 14? im obsessed with piercings!!! but you should try to help her talk her mom into letting her get her ears pierced!!

no because I got some and I was like 12. now I'm going 2 turn 14 in a few months. But I mean I had 2 pay for it but it was free peircings @ Claire's soo all I had 2 do was pay 4 the earings...

no noone is too young for a double lobe peircing. im 13 and i got a double lobe peairing when i was 12

The age limit is what age the parents say until the child becomes 18- then they can decide.
Unfortunately, whether you agree or not, that is simply the way it is.
