Am about to qualify as a general nurse and really want to go on to do midwifery, and help/advice would be great

Yes I did the BSC (hons) midwifery course in 18 months. I found it very hard as it had been a long time since i had done any studying and never had to do an academic essay as I had completed the old SRN course but i managed to complete the course successfully and continued to look after my home and 5 children so you should do fine Go for it

join the nurse 1st get a year in then see about doing few classes a day or night

you could go part time at collage or ask at hospital if you could shadow someone
