8 hours is generally recognized as the bodies standard sleep cycle. No matter what shft you work your body will develop its own rythm ans still require 8 hours. Have you ever got like 5 hours of sleep all week and then sleep in on the weekends? Thats your body making up for those lost hours.

8 hours just like if you worked days; keep to a schedule even on your days off...and keep the room dark when you're on your sleep cycle....

Good luck...I can't do a third. It's rough.
