circumstances? I know about the Kurt Cobain story, but this was a different guy. He was really smart, and had gone to Cal Tech, I think. This was about in the mid 1990's, around the time of the OJ trial. I saw an "unexplained mysteries" type show on TV about him once, but I can't remember who he was.

The only episode of Unsolved Mysteries that have musicians involved is "Salsa Swindlers" His name was Omar Arroyo and is at large. It wasn't rock, but Salsa music in this show.

Brian Benjamin Hirsch. He dissapeared Aug 1st 2000 in Santa Cruz CA. He was a rock artist and has cds out. Awesome artist. They think he may have taken a shotgun in the CA mountains and shot himself however no body was ever found. My cousin Ken personally knew him and wonders if he is still alive today.
Have you heard of him now? Is this the person you are talking about? Sure wish we knew what happened to him for sure. My cousin is still searching for this friend he use to play with long time ago.
