More than the largest hard disc in the world. It stores terabytes of information. If you think about it new data is put in from the time of birth to death. Colors, words, associations, meanings, smells - everything you 'know' is based on something that is stored in the brain.

The fact is even a terabyte hard disc could not contain a lifetimes information that is in a human brain. I bet the brain is already storing gigabytes of info even before a birth.

You will probably get a load of hot shots posting links to scientific articles etc. But the fact is that scientists do not know anymore about this subject than you or me.

The human brain doesn't store fixed elements (bits) as a computer. It seems to store information relative to other information, being able to rebuild apparently lost memories when triggered.
Think of a movie.... you may have forgotten it, seemingly completely, but when you watch it, you'll remember what's coming up.
Nobody knows how much it can really store, but it's definitely lots.

Well... the human brain is considered to be the ultimate computer. The problem is, we don't understand it completely. The brain can store large amounts of data and is always recording. Using hypnosis, people have quoted books that they have read back in the 3rd grade. Now is that crazy or what!

I certainly have not heard what technological know-how believes the human strategies optimal ability would be in those words. i understand they say (barring any cranial/strategies trauma) that the strategies keeps exceptionally lots all recommendations of what it sees and hears.., storing up extensive libraries of recommendations. the subject with nearly all of peoples is the bear in mind means. If we based this on our bear in mind means then computers would have us beat palms down! Which brings me to this end (in spite of the actual undeniable fact that drifting from the familiar subject slightly)..., no count if a individual believes in a God author or only nature at artwork.., it might look to represent the recommendations is interior the outdated cranial equipment for a reason. i elect to have self belief for purposes after this life. memory is an rather complicated equipment. Its even being seen that some factor of memory is saved interior the physique. only one factor in case between many others is the lady who gained a heart transplant.., who under no circumstances smoked in her life and led an otherwise very conservative life..., had urges to smoke, knew the thank you to experience a bike (something she under no circumstances did in the previous) and needed to entice close around Biker Bars... and another extremely unusual transformations in her character. finally they found out the middle donor became a biker. that's a real tale.., so no count if technological know-how recognizes it or no longer - I say evidence of physique-memory is interior the pudding.., err..., nicely.., the middle besides. =^)
