I have been looking for a pricing list, but can not find one. I am thinking that people will over charge, based on what they think they can get out of a certain person, I really don't want to get ripped off.

if the place doesn't have a set price list, it doesn't sound like a place to be getting pierced - it's one thing to give a deal to a friend/known customer, but to size everyone up and make them pay random prices seems sketch to me.

average prices here (canada) is $50 with jewellery.... keep in mind, if the price is cheap, they may be cutting back in other areas - proper cleaning, jewellery quality, etc.

Nose Piercing Price

The price should be a combination of the piercing + the jewelry + aftercare product. Many shop will offer you one size fit all piece of jewelry with a price tag of $20 more or less, be aware of those places. You will never find a reputable place at that price and the most corner they cut is in the jewelry they put on you. The nose jewelry will most likely contain a lot of Nickel that would cause an allergic reaction. The gemstone will fall out due to its being glue on or changing its color in a few weeks or even tarnish your skin. It is easy to get taken advantage of when it comes to piercing, it is true, but most come from places that is offer substandard quality jewelries and services so don't let price be the end-all in your search. The average should be around $50 and up depends on the location of the shop, gemstone, material (stainless steel, Titanium or 14kt Gold) and the skill of the piercer.

As with most things it depends on supply in demand. I stay in charlotte, nc and for nose piercing here it's 20 plus the jewelry. Your best bet would be to whip out a pone book and start calling around places asking their prices so you can have a general idea, also when you see someone with a piercing ask them how much it cost and if they would recommend that person to you.Make sure everything is sterilized!!

I got mine for £20 but think that was pretty cheap for a nose piercing. I also didn't have a choice whether to get titanium or any other material

Nostril or Septum piercing?
It varies depending on who does it and the type of jewelry put into it. You won't find a price list, you'll have to call a tattoo shop/parlor and ask if they have a piercer and how much they charge. I Charge 40 for nostril and 45 for septum piercings, but that's just me and my business.
If I were you, I wouldn't pay more than $75 and be sure to tip :-D
