I used Proactive for a couple years and was happy with it. I eventually discovered the Jan Marini line of skin care products and moved to that. It works better for me, but up until that point, Proactive worked best.
Part of your problem is your age. I know that's not what you wanted to hear, but your skin problems will most likely clear up in a few years. Proactive probably won't get rid of all the problems, but it may help.

I used Proactive over a year ago. My skin got really worse. Listen to me. I have tried everything for my acne. and I mean everything. The only thing that cleared my acne for good is smoothbeam laser. It is very expensive and painful. You will probably need about 4 sessions. But it works. Do something for your skin now before you get scars that will never go.
Good luck!

Okay, so, I think you should definitely give ProActive a chance. I have been using it ever since my older cousin had acne and told my mom to get it for me before it got too bad. I use it now, and people are looking a ME for a change. It really improves your social life. I think it is amazing and definitely gives desired results. Give it a try. You wont be disappointed.

Proactive seemed to work for me, but I stopped using it because I hate relying on a product for clear skin. Proactive had two down sides.
1) When I started using it, my face itched all the time (fortunately that stopped within a few weeks)
2) The "Renewing Cleanser" makes bleach spots on your clothes if you get it on them. I ruined two of my favorite shirts :P
Other than that, I'd recommend Proactive.

I duno 'bout proactive, but I use clearasil and it does just fine. It depends on ur skin actually and if u use different kinds of face washes it'll just make it work. Get one, stick with it for 2 weeks and make sure to use it 2 times a day if not 3 and im sure it'll clear up.

My husband is 23, and he has been using ProActive since he was 15. I also know 4 other people who use the system who are very satisfied
PS - They have a money back guarantee, you might as well give it a try!!

If you want to save some money and get the same results. WalMart carries a product called AcneFree, which is the same exact formula but costs under $20. Plus you don't have to pay for shipping and wait for delivery. If you don't have a WalMart nearby, most other drugstores carry this as well.

I used proactive for a while, it did help. BUT when I stopped using it, it has gotten worse. If you are planning on using Proactive, use it for life. If you are not planning on using it forever dont use it. It makes things worse. Plus it gets pretty expensive after a while. [Using it constantly for so long]. Good Luck! =]

It works if you dont have that really bad acne but it helps a lot and maybe if youy do have bad acne then you should go to a different doctor or dermatalogist

It really depends on the person using the products. I bought Proactive and it hurt; I have really really sensitive skin. I gave it to my girlfriend and she thought it was sent from God, it was so good for her. Try it, it's not that expensive and you might be pleasantly surprised.
