The premise of Evolutionary Psychology is that some human behavior patterns are controlled by our genes. Now that we have mapped the human genome, have we identified any specific genes that control specific behaviors?

Most "genetically-influenced" behaviours that have been identified are linked to groups of genes rather than specific genes, and, like many physical consequences of genetics, indicate "tendencies" or "probabilities" towards specific behaviours rather than concrete causal relationships. Alcoholism is one that has been much studied to date.

Well, we've definitely linked irrational emotional behavior patterns to the XX gene that is female. *smirks*
