It's about a mask that some guy put's on, I think while entering a Movie theatre, anyways it cuts him on the face, I know it was a scary movie. And no it's not
"The Mask" w/ Jim Carrey.
That's all I can remember. Any help would be appreciated since I know it's not much to go off of.

"The Abominable Dr. Phibes" with Vincent Price had a guy who put on fake animal head mask over his own head. At the neck part, a ratchet went around and kept getting tighter and tighter until it choked him to death. This is probably not the movie you're thinking of, but it was wonderfully shocking.

The killer in Valentine wears a mask, but I don't remember him going into a theater. I think he does get cut. Go to www.imdb.com & see if it this helps.
I just copied the link for you, good thing, there were several movies with the same name. The one I am thinking of is from 2001, but I thought it was older than that.

Halloween 3? It's not related to the other Halloween movies of Michael Myers but if it's a pumpkin mask that kills who ever wear it then that might be it but i don't know. Awful movie though.
