No, they got what they derserve and at least Israel warns the people to get out and if they stay I believe that is their own fault. Now why won’t hezbollah do the same thing? If Israel were to have a cease fire that wouldn't solve a thing, things would only get worse because hezbollah would only become larger and stronger! Why should anyone give into terrorists? This would have never happened if and only if Lebanon would have done what they said they were going to do in the first place in accordance with UN resolution 1559. Hezbollah uses high-density residential areas as launch pads for rockets and heavy-caliber weapons. They dress in civilian clothing so they can quickly disappear; the militants carrying automatic assault rifles and ride in on trucks mounted with cannons. What other country sustains over 1,500 indiscriminate rocket attacks into its cities — every one designed to kill, maim and terrorize civilians — and is then vilified by the world when it tries to destroy the enemy's infrastructure and strongholds with precision-guided munitions that sometimes have the unintended but unavoidable consequence of collateral civilian death and suffering?
When the United States was attacked at Pearl Harbor, it did not respond with a parallel "proportionate" attack on a Japanese naval base. It launched a four-year campaign that killed millions of Japanese, reduced Tokyo, Hiroshima and Nagasaki to a cinder, and turned the Japanese home islands to rubble and ruin. Disproportionate? No. When one is want only attacked by an aggressor, one has every right — legal and moral — to carry the fight until the aggressor is disarmed and so disabled that it cannot threaten one's security again. That's what it took with Japan. Maybe the world should get both sides of the story.
Here is another question to think about. Where do you think is the safest place in Israel? My answer is anywhere the IDF is since hezbollah just targets civilians …and for all those saying that Israel is trying to "terrorize Lebanon into submission" isn’t that pot calling the kettle black? Plus, Lebanon was never a real country. Hezballh obviously had the military strength to take over the country whenever it wanted to. It already ruled the south and could and did commit the country to war when it chose. We can only hope that Lebanon will survive as a free country, but that requires that Hezballah be squashed.

You cann't discuss any problem without going back to the roots of that problem, you cann't just look at the problem from one point of view... bcz people have different views of the same problem ... What is going on in lebanon,in palestine and in iraq is part of the american and the western countries way of trying to fix the whole miss that they invent them selves in that area...ithink you cann't solve any problem if you keep neglecting the sole reason of the problem...which i think is "ISRAEL"... do any bdy thought of what make some one a terrorist???? do you beleive that some one who defend his own homeland ,his family and his rights is a terrorist ??? they are keep telling us that hisbullah in lebanon and hamas in palestine and alqaida in iraq are all terrorists!!!! see... if some one came and invaded your own hose and did what he want inside your home what can you do,,, do you just keep silent and move away... leave it to him,,,bcz if u try to defend your home you will be a terrorist!!! Israel was invented and supported by the western countries...they helped the jewish people from all over the globe to come to palestine and build their own country by money and force...it started in 1948 and start to invade the neighbouring countries, so it took some lands from syria, lebanon, jordan and egypt in addition to palestine,,, so i think the troubles in the middle east will not be solved untill the end of this life or until the western countries realize that there is no place for israel in the middle east...otherwise there will be every then and a while; a new terrorists who are looking for freedom on there own land...

Yes, it is sad that the children are suffering the sins of their fathers. The Lebanese people refuse to stand up and demand Hezbollah leave their nation and this is the price they pay. You should be mad at Iran who started and finances Hezbollah to create trouble in Lebanon, not the Israelis who have the choice of being invaded by terrorists or going through women and children to kill the snakes among them.

What Israel did on Sunday was very disgusting. How can a nation kill so many children & act as if what's the big deal? You want to go after the terrorist groups fine but you should do all you can not to kill innocent civillians.

Again with children. Children are casualities of war because they are being used as shields by the terrorists.
