This is a serious question. I have ideas to answer this question myself. I want to see how close someone can come to coming up with the same answers I have or better.

To give you a better hint. Here is a quote from Wikipedia on "Behavior Therapy". My idea is to curtail unhealthy habits of thoughts, words and body through "diversionary tactics".

Behaviour therapy is a form of psychotherapy used to treat depression, anxiety disorders, phobias, and other forms of psychopathology.

Depending on the level of severity of the diversionary tactic, they can be very effective in behavior therapy. One needs only think of the studies of Pavlov and his famed dogs or the seemingly sadistic John B. Watson in his experiment with Little Albert, an 11 month old baby to understand the depths to which behavior can be learned or trained through diversionaty means.

Its a very good question and the best way to answer it is to start with a discussion of what we really mean by "tactics". To accomplish that, we can start by breaking the word "tactics" down into its fundemental parts: "tacti" and "cs", which upon review, appears to be beyond anyone's comprehension.

Well, maybe you were diverted for a minute by this nonsense.

We have kept a man out of the observation room sucessfully by organizing people to sing. Nothing formal, we just get some of the wanderers to sit together.
