I think they did if for the kids who wouldn't understand what a cow is without the udder. Bulls have a different artist rendering. It totally bugs me too. Consider if you will, the movie City Slickers with Billy Crystal, they are ranching beef cows, you know the wooley looking ones. At the end of the movie, a red and white herford gives birth to the bambi eyed gurnsey- cuz they're cuter.

I would guess that they have no idea about cows, bulls, or steers. Why didn't they just make him a steer then all they would have had to draw in was a little string hanging down the middle of his belly! LOL I grew up on a ranch too and it irritates the HE double hockey sticks out of me that about everything on t.v. that pertains to cattle is either a Holstein or is absolutely wrong. Ever see the rent-a-car ad that the guy asked for a mustang? He comes riding out on a bald face horse, then they cut to the horse bucking and it's a sorrel with a star and snip. Guess they didn't figure anyone would notice. Oh, well. Too bad they don't hire people with an ag background to advise them!

I think it's cause little kids think of cows having udders, I mean what else would they draw in if it was a boy? lol, that's all we need, a little kid to yell out at the movie that he sees the boy cow's "stuff", as my son calls it.

HA. I asked the same thing. Apparently the animators didn't do much research...but would boy cows with boy parts make it into the final cut? Probably not, so the utters were probably more universally clean.

I can't tell you why, but I noticed that on the previews and it really bothers me. Just leave everything off like they do with other animals...

I know it is getting me soo mad! Those have to be cows because cows are girls and bulls are boys. It just goes to show you that nickelodeon sucks!
