If you're looking for great YA books...
Sarah Dessen is a great writer. I recommend any of her books. Her latest book is Just Listen. My personal favorite is The Truth About Forever. Her books have to deal with friendship, life, and boys.

Umm...Chicken Soup Books. But I think nothing comes close to how great these books are! I can't wait until January 9, 2007, when Forever in Blue come out!

The "Princess Diary" series by Meg Cabot are all good in that sort of genre and it's a very similar sense of humor.
