My niece is having problems with her iPod. maybe one of you knows how to fix it. This is the IM she sent me explaining the problem:
Its showing a folder icon with an exclamation point and the web address for the support site
so i went there and it says to reset it
so i did
now it will turn on and show the apple logo
but it wont show the menu

why dont you take it to an apple store so they can help you

well it should come back on after the apple logo if not reset it again and if that dont work try pluging it in to the computer or try charging it with a wall charger if non or that works take it to an apple store and gett an estimate on how much it will cost to fix

Best bet is to go to the Apple store in Oakridge Mall near New York & Co. I wouldn't trust some of the people that answer with junk ideas to fix an expensive electronic.

Has she connected it to the computer so it can communicate with the itunes program. Once you reset the ipod it erases all. It is like formatting a drive

you apple is broken take it to the apple store and they should fix it if not you should have a warranty on it.

let it recharge for an hour then try again.hope that fixes it good luck
