Myself and my wife divorced 5 yrs ago, she had 2 children when we met, and we had 2 of our own. We had a very bad relationship and ended on bad terms. Well we recently reunited. Things are going so-so, but every time we argue I remember all of the things I hated in the relationship. I want to know, statistically speaking, the probability of this working?

Remarriages are usually pretty successful because there is nothing unknown... if you reunite knowing that the other person does things that piss you off it doesn;t seem to matter as much.

If you two really want a chance to survive, start and stay in therapy. There's a reason you guys got divorced. You guys need to find out why. Reconciliation after a divorce is awkward and has a low probability of success. However, you can beat the odds with a committment to the healing process. Start with therapy and really committ.

it didnt work before probobly wont work again especialy if you cant let go of the things that went wrong in the past. But hey its good to try for the kids at least . Good luck and don't depend on opinions of strangers for such a topic. you guys should go to councling if you realy want to try again.

It depends on how much and when you both grow up and mature. I have several friends who re-married their first wives after maturing and growing up and things worked out just fine for them. The tough part is growing up and maturing. It really sucks for some people.
