I have expressed interest to go visit my out-of-state father for a two week vacation sort of visit. However, my doesn't have enough vacation time off work to go with me. She said I should go on my own but I don't know if I should believe her. Mainly because of two reasons....
1. We are newlyweds and have yet to go on our honeymoon.
2. Well she would have to stay home.
What do you think???

She sounds like she's really OK with it. Obviously she respects your relationship with your father, and that makes her even more cool. Just remember this later and make sure you treat her really special. Make sure the honeymoon is extra, extra special. You take care of her, she takes care of you. It's how it works.

If she said she's kewl with it, then take her at her word...just be sure you save some time off so when she accumulates some, y'all can take that honeymoon!
