It depends where in canada..here in NB it's $6.30

Well I hope they don't live in an igloo! Just kidding, it varies by province in BC it is $8, but if you have worked under 500 hours you can be paid as little as $6 until you have accumulated enough hours. This is only for a first job ever, you don't start over when you change jobs. Still sucks though.
