Who do you think are the best band of all time, personally i like the Eagles, anyone else agree, some interesting answers, rather than just the beatles and queen would be interesting

The Beatles. Sorry if that's not interesting enough, but it's the truth. Those 4 men conquered the world in a very short period of time and changed music more than anyone else had before or has since. Each was a musician in his own right, they did great together, but are wonderful standing alone as well. You can't say that for the majority of bands.
I love the Beatles. I love the Grateful Dead more.
The Grateful Dead are my "favorite" band of all time.

Beatles are the best band. But that is not all right, cause music is all about 'who came before me'. SO let me just say this... HERE is a super band name for my favorite band 'Muddy Waters-Pink Floyd-Beatles-NIrvana-Queen-The Tragically Hip (pre 1998)-Radiohead-Verve-U2-Pixies'.

metallica, because even though I don't like their later stuff they have managed to change with the times, which most hair/metal bands of the 80s were unable to do.
