A lot of companies prey on desperate people offering hope when their remedies offer none. They ride on the back of conventional treatments as they know that these are the ones that will work but they will then take all the credit.

rule for this are - reasearch the evidence

if there is none and it is a harmless herb etc check with your doctor that it will not interact with other meds

lastly if it is expensive it is likely to be a money chasing quack so avoid them (as most of these remedies are based on very common cheap plants/herbs etc there is no reason for them to be expensive)

I'm sorry your loved one has cancer. I have to say that I believe alternative medicine has helps - not cures - that will enable the body to heal itself.

Opting for the natural route takes a commitment to the healthiest lifestyle you can achieve. That usually means giving up alcohol, tobacco, fried food, soda pop & coffee, for starters. It also means educating yourself about your particular cancer and going after all the helps you can find - like your life depended on it. It means seeking a doctor trained in holistic medicine. It might even mean moving out of a home or polluted city that is making your condition worse.

There is no magic pill. Even allopathic medicine admits that.

I know about a product called Floressence (not sure of the spelling) that is based on the old Essiac formula that Rene Caisse obtained from the Canadian Obijwa Indians. This tea has helped with cancer of the esophagus, stomach and intestines. There are various names for the same thing: Essiak, Ezziak, Indian Healing Tea and others. The least expensive of these is a tea bag with the formula ingredients manufactured by Now Foods. Check with your natural food store for these.

Deficiency of Vitamin A and zinc are common in persons diagnosed with this type of cancer, so supplementation is indicated. Chaparral and red clover are also good blood-cleansing teas; take 1 heaped teaspoon of either per cup of boiling water, steep 15 minutes, drink often.

No no no. There is no cure for cancer. I couldn't find anything on this tea. Are you sure that is the name of it? If you get the correct name and the manufacturer, check out the FDA's warning letter site. I will bet money that if the tea exists and they claim it can cure cancer (there are a lot of supplements out there that make that false claim) it will be on the FDA website. I do this for a living, believe me. These companies get cited all the time for false claims.

http://www.fda.gov/foi/warning.htm You can check by company, date, etc.

Wow. Sixty years of scientific research and literally billions of dollars poured into that research to find a cure for cancer...and you found a tea that cures it?

Pffft.
