I'm sure you're not ugly. Everyone has something great about them. If you go around feeling bad and complaining about being ugly (not that I'm saying you are) it will affect people's opinions of you. Think about all the positive things about yourself? Are you a great soccer player? Do you get good grades? Think of some positive things about yourself, it will make you feel better and confident. Also, do fun little things for yourself. Give yourself a manicure or a makeover, you'll be surprised how much those things will help you to feel good. Stay positive and be good to yourself. If others see you're confident, they'll be impressed and be confident in you too. Attitude is everything.

It's an age thing. All girls around your age feel a lack of self-confidence.
Find something that you're good at. Exercise. Spend time with people that make you happy... not ones that bring you down. Get a makeover (not too much, just try a new hair style or get some highlights). Know that you are special, pretty, and a spectacular young woman.

Find out what your talents are and focus on them....even if its just 1 thing. This will boost your confidence.
Confidence is not about how other people think about you b/c others opinions are always changing, but how you think about yourself. The way you see yourself is usually how others will see you b/c this is what you will project to others.
You should not put your myspace account on here for the entire world to see...you do not know who is on here answering your questions...

I have issues with my looks also but I am much older than you so my advice is to look in the mirror and say that you are beauitful or use sticky notes leave them around with only positive things on them basically don't compare yourself to other people because God made us different and if you can't accept what God has created in you then you have a problem with him love yourself from the inside out and everything will be just fine.

no your not ulgy. alot of girls from the ages of 14-19 think that they are ulgy at some point. im 19 and i have went through that too, to some people to maybe ulgy but to others you maybe very pretty. if you have a boyfriend then you know that you couldn't be ulgy because he must have thought that you were very pretty to go out with you. but just remember everyone's opinion is different. so don't worry about it.

If you're Christian, read "Self Love" by Robert Schuller. It really helped me.
If not, it might be too preachy (Jesus loves everybody anyway, but I'm not going to cram it down anybody's throat...)

Play tennis! It boosted my self-esteem too. It's better if you're really bad and then get really good.

Sometimes, just wearing certain clothes makes you feel good about yourself. Like, if you go around wearing sweatpants all the time you will feel kind of dirty and unattractive, but if you wear really stylish and flattering clothes it will make you feel good. (I don't know, but thats how I feel.)
