Im almost 15 now and is it also normal to start shaving in 8th grade?

It's all part of genetic coding. Look at your family and you wont be surprised by others that might have started shaving at an early age. Nothing to worry about, just hold off from shaving as long as you can, once you do it will become and endless routine for the rest of your life. Yeah. I think go ahead and shave. You may be maturing earlier than your friends, but if you got the hair, you need to shave.

I don't know anyone with back hair. If you're shaving under your arms I guess it's fine for that age.
