Assuming you buy the ticket and win the lottery, what would you do with the money ?
Its a jackpot by the way,not a £10.
I would like to open a shop selling new goods (complete house furnishings type) with all the money going to charity, because I wouldnt need the money but love meeting new people and I guess I am sad enough to say I am actually one of the few people who enjoy retail, except for the anti-social hours and weekend work, but then I wouldnt have to do those shifts !

I would have to purchase the biggest baddest slowest tractor that money could buy and drive it around every A and B road during rush hour traffic!
In between rush hour traffic i would be a lady who lunches and would dine with all my acquaintances!
But firstly i would donate a large portion of my winnings to research into Breast Cancer as over the last couple of years i have known too many woman who have suffered through this and i don't feel enough research has been done.
This I already know but i would just be getting my own back as i spend many a day sitting behind one and it really p***** me off
I'm so laughing!!!!

I would take care of my family and friends first. Buy a house, a car, finish school. Travel. I'd still work because I'd drive myself crazy at home all the time and I'd need the social interaction. I would give money to charity, but the people who would really benefit are the people I care about. Everyone I work with would get some money, and all the kids would get college paid for, if they wanted to go. Oh, and I'd make sure I tipped really, really well when I went out to eat.

The jackpot is up to $175 million today.
Here's my list:
1) Hire a lawyer for my son, and get him a new trial so he could be in a long-term mental institution instead of state pen for assault. (He is schizophrenic.) He would have the best care available.
2) I would buy my boyfriend a new hip. He is in constant pain, and can't afford $40K
3) I would check into a vegetarian spa, and not come out until I was a size 5 again. (about 4-5 months.)
4) I would buy houses for my sons, my sister, wherever they want them with all the bells and whistles.
5) I'd buy myself an old stucco mansion in Tucson, and a cabin on a lake in Maine.
6) I'd buy my boyfriend an airplane, since he has been a pilot since he was about 11.
7) I'd give myself, my sons, and my sister, and my boyfiriend generous lifetime allowances so we wouldn't have to work.
8) I'd set up a trust to use the rest of the money to do good works, involving education and poverty.
9) I would write and travel and enjoy my life.

I would open a coffee shop because I love to interact with people .I used to be a waitress and I loved my job I would only be open till noon and I would make all kinds of flavored coffees and totally beat Starbucks on their prices and coffee (I make an awesome mint Mocha iced coffee) and I would also like to open a restaurant. I love to cook. I would like to only be open on the weekends (Fri and Sat evenings to be exact.), I would charge a flat fee for dinner (20 usd per person) and there would be one menu, it would be an appetizer an entree dessert and drinks, all prepared as ordered by me (of course the meal would be different each night). There would be a musician playing and we would not take reservations. Basically a really upscale restaurant that was inexpensive. And I would have a great wait staff because I would pay them more than the 2.13 an hour that they get paid in the us.

Sounds good! You must remember the woman who won 55 millions at eurolotto? She only spent 2 millions to buy houses for herself and children and cars, left the rest to financial advisers and is now worth 2 or 3 times over what she won!

Personally i'd do the same as she did but!!! Only so i could realise my life wish ... To open the best dog shelter, make it a real comfortable place for all strays to get pampered and use interests to do that! Also to inform and teach people how to look after/understand their dog needs!

But then ... I'd also help other charities i support and i do believe that i would treat us all to a good holiday in Italy! I love it you see and my dogs could come with me. Boy that would be wonderful!

The first things I would do are the obvious, like buying a house and paying off debts, etc, and of course I would spoil my kids. But after that, I would probably either give a load of it to local community groups or set up a charitable organisation and/or counselling service to help people in need who can't get help elsewhere.

I would pay off all my debts, set my parents up for their retirement, give my sister a good start in life and set up a trust fund for my kids.
Then if there was anything left i would love to set up a holiday park for disadvantaged kids to have free holidays every year. Not just kids that are in homes, kids that have disabilities, and kids whose parents try really hard but can't afford to take them on holiday.
Everyone deserves a break after all.
