The backup for your starting OF should be Coco Crisp. Wily Mo is showing some pop in the Boston lineup right now because Nixon is injured and he's only a temporary solution until Nixon comes back. Encarnacion is benefiting from the St. Louis "big three" (Pujols, Edmonds, Rolen) but he is a streaky player that tends to strikeout a lot. The reason I chose Coco is that he had speed and some pop but he's not leading off (Youkilis is). Youkilis is struggling and there had to be some point that Terry Franconea as to yank the 1B out of the leadoff spot and give it to Crisp. Once Crisp is the permanent leadoff man, he'll have more opportunity to score runs with Big Papi and Manny behind him, but just wait it out and reap the benefit.

Your utility gut should be Edmonds. Castillo is a base stealer and nothing else and even if Edmonds is having a down year, he still worth a shot in a lineup.

I'm not a big fan of Pierzynski personally but I think he should be the starting catcher. Lo Duca is all about hitting and getting some occasinal runs in a potent lineup but Pierzynski is showing pop batting behind Thome, Konerko, and Dye and I think he should continue to post good stats.

Third Base is hard to decide but if I had to choose one, it would be Crede. Lowell is past his prime but is still getting the job done in Boston but the future is Crede. He has match his HR total from last year and I think he should exceed it this year with the lineup he's in (plus he's not even 30 yet).

I don't even consider Soriano or Delgado as backup and they should start in all league, no matter what.

I'd take crisp over damon, but thats just cuz I hate the yankees, um... Jim Edmonds by a long shot. Pierznski is the better hitter and faces worse pitchers being in the AL
Mike Lowell is very streaky if you use him know when to take him out your team isnt bad hows ur pitching?

Agreed to waiting it out. Towles is a sleeper %. for an excellent style of human beings. on no account sweat the catchers. They on no account prooduce as extreme as they are ranked. they only play seventy 5% of the video games in maximum situations. Watch something of you infield weigh down your combatants. in case you have have been given the itch to change, drop Ruiz or Drew for extra OF.
