I don't have a TV and was wondering if you can play the video through a PC. Thanx.

I know it sounds weird I don't have a TV!
But my roommates are TV nazis and I just want to play/watch in my own room without having to buy a TV. I don't really have room in my "closet-room" for one anyways.

Yes. With a TV capture card with RCA inputs.
Many different capture software available to let you see in real time the input while it is in capture mode but not yet capturing. I do this all the time with my PS2 and to watch VHS movies with my VCR hooked up to my computer.
A good TV capture card can be purchased for under $40. But you can go up to a couple hundred if you so choose.
Same with software. Pinnacle has a nice package with both the card and software that I've seen on sale for $40.

It is possible, but the VGA/RGB adapter you'd need to hook it up is kind of expensive. Since plugging in your PS2 into your video isn't a very good idea. The gameplay will be laggy, since the card can't process the PS2's data fast enough. You'd need an adapter so your PS2 and your monitor can connect to it. Though, those boxes can cost more than $40 USD.

Yes this is possible. Get yourself a TV tuner card. They have coax in but they also have A/V in. So just feed the A/V cables from the PS2 into the tv tuner card and you're rolling.

Yes, if you have a TV tuner for your PC (you can buy them all over the place) you can put a PS/2 or dvd player into it and play on the pc monitor.

Well due to todays technology especially computers where will depend with what kind of PS2 you have. For a SONY PS2 it is possible all you have to do is by a USB cable then connect it your PS2 and computer. I hope this will help.
