Which are cooler? I personally like Vikings, but Iwanted some feedback.

vikings are cooler.... because they get to rape and pillage...not just kill....just remember pillage first THEN burn...

Vikings. Because, even though they did pillage and steal people for slavery, when then did settle into an area (because they were running out of space back home), they blended the best of their own culture into the best of local culture. A lot like the old Romans did, only the Romans got better PR, and the Vikings are seen only in a negative light. For this blending of cultures, I find I really have to admire them.
As for the Ninjas -- well, they may have had honor and all that, but remember, they were trained assassins, while the Vikings were just trying to survive.

To me (and of course this is real subjective) I would have to say Vikings are cooler. Ninjas were assassins for hire, paid murders with nifty toys and some cool tricks. Vikings were warriors and sea raiders - pirates of the North Sea, if you will - who started out from their frozen homeland and established themselves as far away as North America, Bizantium and Africa. Explorers, traders, pillagers (yes). They were the end of the Dark Ages, and the beginning of the Enlightenment.
Vikings.

Vikings definitely. Vikings were pretty much masters of both land and sea. Can you imagine being gone for weeks at a time in the primitive long ships they used for ocean travel? That takes courage, heart and tenacity to fight the mighty sea in something like that. Vikings were fierce warriors and strategists.
Unlike what some people think, they weren't the brainless blood thirsty barbarians history has portrayed of them. They were a noble race of people.

I think Vikings are much cooler than ninjas, just because of the hat.

But if I had to choose, I'd go with ninjas. You could be born a Viking. You had to train to become a ninja.

Go Norske Go!!! I also am very very fond of the Norsemen. I mean they bring a new meaning to the phrase "trade and raid". Ninjas do have a lot of cool stuff but you just can't beat the sheer terror of a group of armoured Norsemen (or even better naked Beserkers!!!) thundering down on the unsuspecting village! Besides, the Gods are cool. You can talk to them (unlike the Greek pantheon or the OT God who'll strike you to your 7th generation with plague....ewww)

So tough! I like vikings, even though I don't know much about them, because they make me think of tougher versions of (typical) pirates. But I think I like Ninjas better. But I really like (typical) pirates better then ninjas!! Oh I don't know... ;_;
