And if so, can you give me a website where it says so? Please, I am doing a report on the juvenile death penalty, no opinions. They will be reported. I just need this for my paper. No discussions!

So you can't according to Roper V. Simmons. In all states. That's what I thought.

It might be different in different states but I know that in california juveniles cannot be given the death penalty. They can, however, be tried as adults if the case is deemed horrendous enough (murder, etc) and in that case they would be eligible for the death penalty. and BTW, all you have to do to find info is go to google and type in your question. its your report, do your own research and dont ask other ppl to do it for you.

Some teens' crimes have been so haneous, they have been tried as adults, which could theoretically carry a death penalty in the right state.

Im not sure. It is probably different in each state. Try going to a law library. There is always a law library in or by court houses or at law schools.

Yes. Texas, the state that has executed the most, says you must be at least 17.

Depends on where you are. I read a report about a teenage girl being sentenced to death in Iran because of extramarital sexual affairs. (She was raped.)
