It very well could. It really depends on the attorney that you and he have. I think if the two of you have already come to an agreement as to how things will be divided then there would be no reason for that to go any further than mediation unless one of you contest the contract. Handwritten contracts between both parties are honored in most any court of law.

You would either have to contact the clerk of the circuit court or an attorney.
It could all hinge on why the couple are splitting up and if there was any specific reasons where the agreement would be null and void stated in the original contract.
Like if it said that if one spouse had an affair then they would wind up with nothing, and the spouse did in fact have an affair and the other spouse has proof of it.
Hope I was a little help.

Pre nuptial agreements will be upheld as long as they are deemed fair by the family court judge. I would contact a lawyer specializing in family law who can review the contract and tell you whether you have any provisions that have already been deemed unfair in Connecticut.

it depends on many things.. did both parties use a lawyer when signing the agreement? are both parties of equal income levels? It depends on what you agreed upon and how fair to both sides it is... also on if either of you are no longer in agreement with it.

Prenuptual agreements can be thrown out by any judge who doesnt think they are fair. Don't get married, its the biggest mistake you'll ever make.
