Why in the world do they make dolls that have a toddler's body, and dress it in thongs, and bras? What are they aiming for, turning on more pedophiles? Making more pedophiles? What kind of parent actually buys these trash toys for thier kids??

Amanda- I've seen ones WITH thongs. They don't ALL come with panties, and those so called "cute clothes" are NOT clothes that are appropriate for KIDS of ANY age, let along the age they aim those dolls at.

I think we have a high enough rate of teen pregnancy as it is it is no wonder kids are becoming sexually active at a unbelievable young age if this are the options they are given ..when the idea is set on their head that wearing mini skirts platforms and red lipstick is the cool thing to do they will want to wear that because they want to be cool and fit in..not to mention that Bratz "life" revolves around guys and material stuff(cars, bikes, cellphones etc) this toy has no positive benefit for a young child all it does is influence the way they perceive the world in a negative way...I think it would be better to give the child a simple doll and let them use their imagination to create a world/style for it , it would also be a wonderful opportunity for the parents to know what perception their child has of the world and society

My wife and I just shopped for dolls and accessories for our niece's birthday. I also saw those Bratz dolls. Those dolls are weird, but I don't think they are made to turn on pedophiles. Perhaps the makers just think the dolls are cute and/or original with those clothes. I don't know...

We didn't buy any Bratz stuff...we settled on some My Scene stuff. Some of those dolls are also dressed a bit trashy as well.

(I saw your other question about Sparta, but couldn't respond because it was closed. I, too, grew up in Sparta, and I am pretty active here at Yahoo! Answers.)

Wow. We actually agree on something! I object to those dolls too. What a bad example for young girls.

I couldn't agree more!!! At least Barbie had real job titles for girls to look up to. If those little girls look up to their Bratz dolls, They'll grow up to be prostitutes.
