Get a pregnancy test done. Until then its pointless worrying about it because youre often wrong.

Also consider the possibility of an infection.

Its probably because of coming off the pill I had weird bleeding when i finished the pill and its a bit early to be getting any symptoms of pregnancy. Dont worry wait a few more days for your period if it doesnt come by early next week take a test theres no point worrying it wont change it. If u do end up pregnant then deal with it in the best way u think but dont worry til u get a result u'll be fine x

Could be a period sign as periods are more irratic when not on the pill, could also be because you are pregnant a lot of women have period shows for several months after they are pregnant. If in doubt get a test and make sure. Or leave it until you think you are due again and see what happens. Personally i would want to know now, GET A TEST DONE!!!

It is impossible for us to give you a full answer.

However basing my answer on what you have provided, yes it could be implantation bleeding. Some times it takes up to three months after stopping the pill for women to ovulate. So it may be a short period and adjustment of your body getting off the pill.

Why haven't you taken a pregnancy test? I assume that you have a gynecologist as you are on the pill. Call s/he now. Make an appt to get a blood test for pregnancy. S/he will also examine you to be sure you don't have an ectopic pregnancy (which is life threatening) or any other major concerns.

You should really educate yourself on ovulation and timing for sex when trying for a baby. Did you speak to a doctor prior to stopping the pill to attempt pregnancy?

Call your gyn and get an appt asap to get a check up. You will have to if you are pregnant (and several more check ups, blood tests, urinalysis, tests for diabetes, etc) so you aren't hurting anything. If it turns out you are not pregnant your gyn can refer you to a fertility specialist and/or you can take the time to talk your concerns about it to your doctor.

If you are pregnant your gyn can refer you to an OB/Midwife so you can get prenatal care very quickly (as is recommended) to insure the healthiest baby possible.

Good luck.

Do a test to be sure. I was having periods until I was 5 months pregnant with my first son. I was only of the pill for 2 months when I feel pregnant. The backache could be period pain or early signs of pregnancy. If your boobs as sore is also a early sign! I would get a test to be on the safe side. Good luck.

Hey !

I totally understand your situation. I stopped the pill June 14th and my first period was the same as yours. I bleed a little and it was brown and then I came on this message board freaking out and got the "GO TO THE DOC" advice from almost everyone, so I did. After my papsmear I bleed really really bad. It was really weird. The Doc said that when you come off the pill that it takes a while for your body to get use to starting its period on its on. If you are like me and trying to have a baby then the next few days, weeks, months are going to be crazy. You will worry your self sick and make your self feel symptoms that aren't there. I was told really good advice not to worry and then it will happen, So I am trying to not think about it and just have fun "lol"...

If you are trying then my advice to you would be the same. I am assuming you are trying because you quit the pill. You sound like you have your head on your shoulders. I wish you the best of luck. Please go to the doctor ASAP, not because its an infection or anything like that.. its just good to get a check up before you conceive. Also, while you are waiting on scheduling an appt. go by the store and get some flinstone vitamins and start taking them... They have folic acid which is good for you as well as the baby. Its smart to take them before you are pregnant.

As for yahoo and the forums sometimes you get nice answers like mine, and sometimes shitty ones, thats part of it. Try to ignore the bad ones. Good luck! Just have fun it will happen, I promise!!!!! Trust me I AM in your shoes right now ;)

the first period after the pill is usually quite painful as your body is getting back to normal after time on the pill. the spotting maybe just a slight leaking until your period starts. if you think that you might be pregnant then see the doctor. ovulation usually takes place about 14 days from the start of your last period so it could be a possibilty.

The spotting is from coming off the pill and could be your period starting slowly. Your periods will NOT be as exact as they were when you were on the pill. It may take a few months for your cycles to become regular again. Many women do not ovulate their first month off the pill.

I had the EXACT same thing a few months back. I went to the doctors, she suggested doing a test - negative. Your period will probably come in a few days but go to the GP to make sure. When you come off the pill your hormones can go all over the place, plus worrying can make it worse. Hope things work out OK for you.

Probably too soon to get pregnant after stopping pill July. C'mon people. About the time you'd get a period, no? Otherwise, take a test or see a doctor for advice. How can we tell you you are pregnant or not online?! I hate these kinds of questions!

Could be that your pregnant, but it's just as likely that going off the pill has altered your cycle best to be sure and spring the ten bucks or so and get a pregnancy test
