DEpending what you prefer to buy that would be the answer. As Ford owns Mazda, and Nissan not all of it but has a say on the production of various items including engines. Ford makes all the engines but are branded to meet customer preference, thruthfully if ford just branded their stuff ford all around people would have a more positive view of Ford overall. Because Ford does make very good products, and though they do have their fall out is because they are massproducers of vehicles, but it would be worse if they kept it quiet like TOYOTA.

No....Ford makes the engine.
Ford owns Mazda.....basically Ford = Mazda. Not a bad thing.....I personally like both, but the Mazda will hold their value slightly better.
