Also, because I am almost never home except to sleep.
And since I couldn't carry my home phone with me, a mobile phone was the obvious choice.

Got a job at 16 paid for my cellphone at 16 still 16 but will be 17 in 4 mos. I have had my cellphone since april 1st and still have it my service is tracfone and I love it being my 1st cell because I don't have a contract or cancellation fee it has saved me a couple of times. Now I can't live without my cellphone as I use it daily not just for socializing....
