Amen, brother! Now, if only politicians would stop trying to meddle in religion.

The people who don't agree missed the whole point and probably didn't even read beyond the headline. This pastor is trying to keep religion separate from politics, a right guaranteed to us by the constitution. It's tragic that anyone could be narrow-minded enough to think that's a bad thing. It's better for the churches and for the government if they don't interfere with each other.

To put it more simply:

Christianity is NOT a political party

The Republican party is NOT a religion

45,000 churches and non-profit groups have been directly notified by the IRS that unless they get out of politics they all stand to lose their tax status and will start being required to file taxes.

I believe that is fair.
