my computer doesn't change language with shift & alt . why?

it was fine then i tried to change the language as usual by shift & alt and it doesn't respond . can u tell me why ? & what to do? thanx

right click on the language icon in taskbar >Settings and verify key settings (select the option press the Shift key or change key settings)
