To open ur yahoo email account, click here www.mail.yahoo.com
To install yahoo messenger, click here http://messenger.yahoo.com/ and download new version of yahoo messenger. Just follow the instructions and u can chat with ur friends anytime ur online. There's no difference on how services work on a desktop or a laptop.

What exactly are you installing from Yahoo!? If you are simply trying to access your Yahoo! email, simply go to http://mail.yahoo.com in a Web browser (Internet Explorer, FireFox, and/or Opera).
