Our best friend introduced us. She had been watching a video of me and my ex of our wedding from 1988. He went to visit her and saw me on the video and was asking about me, who I was, what I was like, etc. She told him that I was married but that I would be leaving him soon and divorcing him (I was planning to do so as soon as I got the money to do it). I went to her house June 3rd of last year and stayed the weekend. He came over the night of the 4th and we talked most of the night. We would meet at her home just to talk and get to know each other and be friends. He was a good listener while I was dealing with trying to leave my husband. I finally got the money and the chance to leave my husband the 7th of July and moved in with our friend for 3 weeks. We got to know each other better during that time and started dating. I moved into an apartment and he came over a lot. I filed for divorce in August, it was final in October. Steve and I have since gotten engaged and moved in together (in November of last year).
Steve is everything I could ever want or need in a man. My ex was a user of me and drugs, abuser of me, his kids, and others, a liar and cheater (did this almost the whole 20 years I was with him), etc. Steve is NOTHING like that. He is kind, loving, respectful, cherishes me, we have almost everything in common and what we don't have in common compliments our relationship and gives us something to talk about and something for each of us to do by ourselves when we have alone time. He treats me like a goddess; I treat him like a God. I wouldn't trade him for anyone or anything.

we met at a birthday party for a friend, i dismissed him tell i saw him again,he showed up at a game i was playing in, in a beat up old car with two big dogs in the car, then i payed attention.we have been together for 35 years and have at the least 3 dogs if not more, at home at one time.

We were walking down the street and our eyes met. We smiled, stopped and introduced ourselves. Now we are married and have 2 kids!

i met him at my job. and sadly enough we were never together . he had a gf and i had a bf and she was my friend. i couldnt do that to her.to this day he still say he loves me and i feel the same.but i dont think well ever be the way we want.
