Even if the human race could survive, it really a failed experiment.
If we were a laboratory test, the progress should stopped and the lab biologically sterilized and disposed of in an incinerator to prevent further contamination of the environment. We ,mankind,as a race have few redeeming qualities.

Since the universe will eventually run down and become unliveable, the short answer is No. But the defining characteristinc of H. Sapiens is the ability to apply reasoning to solve problems, and as long as the problems are in fact solvable by some means, the race can survive.

The human race has the capability to live as long as the earth is still here, but it seems to have a greater capability to destroy itself.

Barring some serious planetary catastrophy it
appears that the human race will be around as
long as the planet is able to support it...
Civilizations certainly wax and wane but we'll still be here..

As long as human still wants to have sex, human can't not live forever. Having sex means that human need to maintain their race through having children.

I think so. If you think about it, everything exists because we believe it so. So if one truly believes they can live forever, I wouldn't doubt that they will.
