I love the original with Hayley Mills. Has anyone seen the remake that was done? Is it any good? I'm tempted to buy it but not sure....

Best in the movie was Bess Armstrong, who played Mrs Jade Randall. She is a wonderful actress, plays her parts intelligently, and every single TV show she has been in has been given numerous awards, and then cancelled, My So Called Life is one great example..... She was also in the movie, House Of God, about medical school and medical residence and internships, which, imho, was censored by the American Medical Association.... She is a wonderful actress, and needs to be given a lot more opportunities to show it!!

Stick with the original, DON'T buy the remake! >:(
