My question is: Why would a guy go out with a girl he doesn't know very well, but reject a girl that he actually knows and has actually met OFFLINE? I just don't understand!!

The person he does not know is an adventure. He knows the other too well and might be afraid of commitment and a lasting relationship. Maybe he is looking for a fling and he does not want to do that with the person he knows because she might be "wife material and he does not want to build her hopes up for something that is not really there. There are so many reasons. Then again, which woman really understandv a man? They can think so strange sometimes!

The purpose of going out is to get to know someone. Perhaps he doesn't like the girl he knows offline in the way he'd want to have a relationship with. He probably feels something for the other girl and wants to see what happens. Nothing wrong with meeting someone you don't know that well.

He feels a better attraction to the girl online. Sometimes just talking to someone can create a strong attraction. He probably does not have any strong feelings for the girl he met offline.

He may not feel any attraction to the offline girl, so why ask her out?
He may be attracted in some way to the online girl, or at least want to see if there is any attraction, so will ask to determine if there is and how much.

Maybe he is scared of getting too serious maybe if he doesn't know the girl well he might think the relationship can just be casual maybe if he knows the girl well he is worried that she might want a serious relationship, men are strange, maybe a guy needs to answer this question!

You're not a mystery to him anymore. He's not "into you". He might know you and you're no longer a fantasy to you. Men need a fantasy and visual stimulation. Why don't you try something new if you really want this guys attention (is he worth it?)? Ask your girlfriends to put you into a classy, hottie outfit, and get your hair sexy. Surprise him and play a little hard to get. He might just decide real life is better than online meetings.

people have different taste and things about a person that they are attracted to. Maybe he only likes the girl he knows as a friend but there's something about the girl he talks to online that he likes and wants to get to know better.

Perhaps he does not like the girl he knows as much as it is fun to meet new people. Sometimes it is more exciting to live for the chase than realize what is around you. Lastly, us guys can often be driven by one thing (not always but often) and he does not want to sacrifice a friendship for that.

Maybe he doesnt see in the girl he already knows qualities he needs in a girl.
And maybe he wants to get to know the other girl to see if she has the qualities.
He probably looking for the right one for him.
Dont hold on to being upset too much .He is looking out for what is going to make HIM happy .
You would do the same.

Wow, you're right! Every girl he knows offline HAS to be better than a stranger! It's so simple. There's no possible reason that he would not want to date every single girl he knows already!
