"We Were Soldiers"...true story of the initial combat contact with Charlie illustrated accurately with sentiment. Gives a classic portrayal of how the combat conditions were over there and how difficult it was for the survivors to comprehend and absorb what they had just finished.

It was "Full Metal Jacket" until I saw "We Were Soldiers."
Still, it's hard to beat the image of marines walking through a smoking wastelend singing "Who's the leader of the club that's made for you and me? M-i-c-k-e-y M-o-u-s-e!"
