In Spite of My Careless Tongue
Listen to my heart and not to my words
Because my words cannot say what I feel!
Things spoken cut like flailing, hacking swords,
Like brutish thugs, our friendship to steal.
For lack of words my pent up heart voice groans,
Without a way for the truth to reveal,
Doors closing; Lost is the word which atones.
Better not speak, lame diction to conceal.
Come back! Awful words return to your home!
Affect no ears of persons, just be still!
The friend I love, contempt my words have shown,
With no excuse! Forgive my thoughtless zeal?
Love me! Not just for the way I love you,
But in spite of my careless tongue too.

an arrow piercing my heart
nothing to fill the hole
incomplete and empty
with nowher to go
falling into a pit of nothingness
emotions are bound
lost in a black hole
falling straight to the ground
falling and falling
pouring like rain
rain can't wash away
all the hurt and the pain
my life is going nowhere
time is being controlled
wish i could controll it myself
because i'm so lonely and so cold
darkness hovering around me
ovewhelming me with fright
starting to surround me
taking me into the night
i need someone to save me
i need comfort and compassion
but that someone doesn't care....
btw, i'm Mrs Gerard Way!!!! lol, jk, i think he's got a gf. but anyway, do you like my poem???? ☺

I wrote this poem about 3 years after my mother passed. It just came to me and I do SINCERELY believe that she inspired me to write it. it has helped me deal with her death ~ to know that though the body dies, the spirit lives; and that, unfortuantely, death is a part of the cycle of life!
WHERE IS MY MOM?
Where is my Mom? I need her today!
She said, "Baby, I'm never far away!"
Where is my Mom? I say with a frown!
She said, "You're not looking up! You're looking way too far DOWN!"
Where is my Mom? It's her I want to see!
She said, "Look in the mirror! And you'll see PART of me!"
Where is my Mom? Why should I live? Why should I bother?
She said, "Because when I left, I MADE YOU A MOTHER!!"
You see, my mother would have said those EXACT WORDS TO ME. I came to the realization that she did not spend all her years raising me to be a good person for me to fall apart when she died. She raised me to go on with life and be productive and positive in it.
Anyway, that poem helped me alot. I hope it helps anybody else who has lost a loved one!

I can't really remember the title, but it was one about how much everyone would miss my best friend's grandma. She was a really nice person. A saint, actually.
