There is no real answer to this question but what I have learned of what love is to me and that is the word LOVE itself holds the answer.......
(L)isten: and validate them by hearing and empathizing.
(O)verlook: their minor character flaws as they will overlook yours.
(V)alue: who they are and what they mean to you.
(E)xpress: how you love them not just with words but with actions.

That sounds like something you'd ask Elvis Prestley! I'm just joking, love can mean anything you don't have to look in the dictionary to find out. Not to go Forest Gump on you but there are different types of love. Theres: tough love, puppy love, love hate, crush(see puppy love, and there's making love. Just kidding about that last one love I mean your getting advice from a pirate(Pizitz Pirates. What would you expect?

To be in love, means to want to give your everything to that one person who makes you feel like nothing bad can ever touch you again, you can all week on the smile you received from them two weeks ago, tingles form and stay in your belly long after they have touched you and walked away. Most of all you would give up your last breath on this earth to make sure they were happy.

A great many things.
you want to take care of him
Like touching him, (kissing, hugs, holding hands)
You smile every time you see each other
you only see the good things, the bad things are not important.
you feel good inside thinking about him
feels great when you are with him
willing to give up your last ( example can of pop )
willing to make him happy.
laugh at his jokes even if they are not funny
Willing to drop what you are doing to help him, even if it was important to you.
Heart beats faster and harder, hands feel cold and clammy, feel sexually excited, list goes on and on
When the love is returned, it make you even feel 1000 time better.

THE DEFINITION OF LOVE IS A SIMPLE ANSWER--- LOVE IN FACT IS NOT A FEELING- IT IS A SYMPTOM-- MEANING I SAY THIS- LOVE IS AN ACTION WORD- PEEPS WHO BEAT ON EACH OTHER AND SAY I LOVE YOU - WHAT A WAY TO SHOW YOUR LOVE...LOL.. it means that the person is one of the most important people in your life, and you just know it.
its not something you can explain. its differnt for everyone.
