Yes you should date, just don't keep introducing your children to all your dates, children can become attached very easily and until your sure this is the guy for long term dating and he is ready to be with you and your kids as a package I would not recommend introducing on the first date, but it not heathy for you not to be involved in adult relationships, some of my first dates turned out to be very good friends instead of a committed relationship, and I am very glad I did the first date because I would of lost out on some really good male friends. And my kids even now they are older have very good relationships with these gentlemen as well. You run your life not your mother, just use good judgement.

I think that if you feel that you are ready to date again, you should go for it. I really don't think the ages of the kids has anything to do with it. Just don't introduce anyone to your kids until you are sure that it's a serious relationship.
