You don't state what your goal is, but since you want to lift a bunch, I'll assume you want to build muscle mass and get some definition.
1) you don't want to work out every day - lifting weights breaks down your muscles - the muscle mass comes when they rest and rebuild - for serious muscle building I recommend a 3 days on 1 day off regime - each exercise do 3 sets of 8 reps each, the third being close to exhaustion.
Day 1: chest - bench, incline, decline press, flys (either cable flys or with dumbbells) . Also some back work (seated row, military press)
Day 2: Arms (curls, preacher bench curls, and some triceps work out like french curls). Do some shrugs to work upper back and shoulders and some good mornings.
Day 3: legs and butt: squats, leg press, lunges, and a trap workout
Everyday: pull ups, crunches (at least 100), bar dips
Day 4: a bit of cardio (go for a run or walk)
Then start over.

I would highly recommend a trainer so
that you are working on the correct
exercises for what you'd like to target.
I can't see why not if you work on a
different body part each day. But a
good routine to get best results is
even a better effort.

i just do a class that focuses on each body part in an hour long session...i do it twice a week and it works really well! you can use however little or much weight you want and it really gets your heart rate up and makes your muscles tired.

do not work out everyday unless all you are doing is walking on tread mill, if you are doing the weights, every other day, and each day during the week, do a different muscle group, but always the same thing each day of the week, every week.

In PE last year I took wt training and he had us do it like this:
monday -- legs (cleans)
tuesday -- sprint workouts (stair steps)
wednesday -- arms (curls)
thursday -- endurance workouts (long distance run)
friday -- back (pull ups)
saturday -- sprint workouts (jump roap)
sunday -- chest (bench press)
Somthing like that. Those are just some examples of what we did. You get in shape real fast.
