if so how do you like them served/fixed up?I like real butter on mine with garlic & cheeses then wrapped in foil & warmed in the oven..you? thanks!

MMM... great now I'm hungry. I like to use both to make slammiches. My favorite is turkey, salami & provolone on italian, buttered and grilled with garlic sprinkled on the top. While you're grilling you take a heavy pan and slam it on top of the sandwich. Thus slammiches.

French bread is very hard. I love Italian bread with my pasta either plain or with garlic and butter, toasted.

If you are speaking of the bread shops in Europe I like both as it is usually fresh out of the oven. Hm-mm...:). and butter or olive oil and balsamic vinegar with some pepper.
