I would hope someone could explain how this group came into existence and what is the agenda?

Hi there.
That's a pretty important question, lots of people aren't sure on the appropriate way to define the Hezbollah.
Hezbollah, as you may already know, is an arabic word meaning 'Party of Allah'. They are a lebanese islamist organization, as well as their own political society!
Being a fairly new group, they were founded in the 80's.

their goal is to free Lebanon from the the Israeli occupation

they came to be by way of iran.....what they have in mind is to wipe israel off the map then come and get us. history on them,,i can only think of when they held alot of our people hostage back in the early 80's..some of them for 7 years like TERRY ANDERSON,,he was on 'war stories ' on foxnews channel the other nite. oh yeah i think they hijacked a plane of ours too,,around 85-86,,somewhere in that time period. they are very organized thanks to iran and syria....without these 2 counties,,i doubt hezbollah would be who they are.....that's my opinion.
