There's alot more than just the sun sign involved in astrology. :)
I have quite a bit of anecdotal evidence that Aries are often strongly attracted, sexually, to Capricorns...but its not always reciprocated. Capricorns do seem to have a knack for putting a ring through an Aries' nose, though, and leading them around.
And that said, I need to add that I'm not an astrologer although I used to research it as an avid amateur.

My partner is an Aries... I am a capricorn. We have been together for 8 years.... hmmm...
I guess with all relationships, as soon as you find out who's boss, the running gets smooth. And if one is willing to overlook the other's shortcomings, together they will make a wonderful pair.

I don' t think that aries and, capricorn people are compatiable by the fact that, their sign elements are not compatiable, aries is an fire sign and, capricorn is an earthsign and, fire and earth don't mix. In lamens terms, if the fire gets to hot for the earth, the earth will "burn up"..., see where i'm going ? And plus, both signs are cardinal sings, so, It will be an on going battle between you two, to see who's boss, and, I know you wouldn' t want that !

Aries ideal sign for compatibility is Libra; any zodiac sign is ideally compatible with the sign directly across it on the zodiac wheel. Signs right beside each other usually have problems getting along. That said, anyone can get along with anyone if both are willing to communicate and compromise.

you know what im livivng witness..!! im an aries and my boyfriend of 1 yr now is a capricorn and i love him to death..yes aries are bossy but they like that fire in us.. but capricorns also are very head strong too so we tend to butt heads sometimes.. but with aries that will be with anybody were with!!..lol..lol.. but my man is great and also capricorns have goals and aries can sometimes get side tracked and thats were we need them to keep us on track!! and last but not least the sex is great with capricorns!! or maybe thats just my capricorn!! lol..

BUT sometimes signs don't really matter. Common ground does. If you've got loads of things in common and you have the same principles about different issues, like relationships, for example, you'll do fine.
