If you took a roll of toilet paper and unrolled it, the human race would only be on the very last square at 1/100th of a millimeter. Which is a fancy way of saying theres insufficent evidence to show global warming or cooling.

Meanwhile, I want to nuke the whales, pave the possums, and set up an MR&D labratory to find out if Spotted Owl taste like chicken. Initial reports show that Spotted Owl taste like a cross between American Bald Eagels and Mannette's

Not all scientists are sure that a true global warming is happening. Of the ones that do, not all scientists believe that human activity had anything to do with it. The climate has been warming and cooling for a long time before industrialization.

So: if there really isn't a global warming occurrance, there's no need to worry.

If there is global warming, but it's just a natural occurance, there's nothing we can do.

If human activity is really responsible, then the world community should sanction China and Malaysia and other countries that cause much, much worse pollution than the US. I mean, thousands of people die on a regular basis from air pollution in Kuala Lumpur. At times, Kuala Lumpur has had the worst air quality in Asia, including benzene levels as high as 37 ppm. Benzene is a known carcinogen. Short-term exposure to high concentrations may cause depression of the central nervous system, whereas long-term exposure to lower levels may affect the bone marrow and the reproductive system. That concerns me. Maybe we should try to help those poor people before we yell at guys driving SUV's.

Sorry for the rant.

Oh, and one more thing: hurricane experts are unanimous in stating that last year's horrible hurricane season had NOTHING to do with global warming. It was just part of the normal hurricane cycle.

Global warming, is not real. If global warming is not real, then what is it?
First you need to understand the order of things. One that a very large percentage of the citizens are nothing more than lab rats. and that government is their God an Master. Government makes a report about global warming and then sets back and watches the rats in the maze. They have to laugh at just how dumbed down people really are.
If it's not global warming, it would be, and is some other test to see how the rats react.
Wouldn't it be nice if people stopped being lab rats and started thinking for themselves. Instead of believing and doing everything they are told.
One of the main problems is state education, I don't call it the state fool education system for nothing.

Yes we should be concerned, but there is no need to do anything about it, it will take care of us before we can fix it. And once it "takes care" of us, and a lot of humanity (and humanities nasty toys) are gone, the climate will adjust back to where it was when there were far fewer of us and a lot less of our machine culture. Complex systems (like the environment) tend to be self correcting, even if that correction involves our demise. Better for the earth on the whole. And, if any of us do survive, maybe we'll learn something from the upcoming horror, and not repeat our mistakes. Eh!

Yes they should, we are all contibuting to carbon emissions and some of us will be more affected than others. Some places will disappear and I doubt if New Orleons will exist, we all saw what happened when the levi was breached, mulitply this by every low lying land mass in the world and we can re-draw the map. If you have not seen the film the Day After Tomorrow then perhaps you should, I believe it's more truth than fiction.

Not concerned. Very few scientist are pushing concern for gw. In fact most are speaking out against the idea-they say there is just not enough evidence to support it. They say we are just at a warm spot on out cycle.

From my knowledge of understanding I agreed that every should be concerned about global warning because it could happen to you one day. for example hurricane Katrine, and Rita that occurred in the US were a big concerned to most because it contributed to the economical factors of the United States.

No. I believe it is nothing more than a manipulative fear tactic. Global warming is merely a computer generated theory that has been used as though it was a proven fact. Research it.

We should be concerned, yes, but the problem is so complex and we have been keeping records climate for such an infinitesimally short time it's impossible to know yet if this is something to get all hyped up about.

I believe there are so many more pressing issues that we shouldn't be overly concerned. What will it matter if there is a warming if we are all wiped out with nukes, famine or plagues?
