Just thinking ahead . .. .
My sister seems to be the creative one - she went as a ham sandwich one year, and had a large olive on a toothpick as a walking stick. She won prizes with that one.
I also liked her hot-air balloon costume.

I need a topper! :o)

Going to an adult party, so having a costume is expected.
Would prefer something mainstream and recognizable vs. esoteric. Funny gets points.

My girlfriend a I did this a few years ago and got many laughs,
I am not any kind of racist, please don't think that. It just fell together and it looked SO good
Picture this...
------------we had on a black turtle neck and black tights
------------black mits and a grass skirt
------------we bought those white mops and spray painted them black, like dreads.
------------we went a bought the best black face paint, and smeared that over every inch we could see bare.
-----------took a toe ring and used it as a nose ring
-----------went and found some bone necklaces and bracelets
And it looked so good, know one really knew who we were, and I still look back at the pictures and i can't tell you I am and who is my friend.
We hands down won for best costume that day. It was alot of fun!!!

My oldest daughter is going as a tornado this year. I haven't decided what my 1yr old is going to be, but I still have a little time to figure it out.

You could go as a bucket of popcorn.

I know it's not horribly "original", but there are six or seven of us who are going as a pirate crew, so do we get points for quantity? ;)
