yah, the quality is fine, it's not that they get the irregulars and stuff because I brought something back missing a button that I had bought and the lady said that they weren't allowed to buy irregulars from other retailers. I think they get the stuff that someone ordered too much of, more like that. I bought a cool pair of Liz Claiborne shoes from Marshalls and I always get good comments when I wear them out. If you really comb the racks you can find some really good stuff at those discount stores. A friend of mine found a Dooney and Burke handbag and a pair of 7 jeans at a TJ Maxx not too long ago...

Well, it can't hurt to look. Like all bargain shopping, you really have to look to find the good stuff. They have all sorts of brands there, from department stores to Calvin Klein. It won't be the cream of the crop as far having the latest fashion items if you're into trendy stuff, but they're not out of date from another decade either and the quality is good most of the time. You can certainly get your basics for a steal there. I have a hard time finding jeans that fit my wide hips and small waist and I lucked out and bought 5 pairs of great jeans there! Some Marshalls have good shoes too. It's like basically going to several stores all in one.
Give it a try and decide for yourself! Good luck and happy shopping!

Yes that's where I buy most of my clothes. But it's all past season and stuff that isn't "trendy" anymore with the "in" crowd, but that's the reason I love the store. Plus it's really cheap. Although I prefer Wal-Mart (no, I'm not joking I buy about 75% of my clothes at Wal-Mart).

Lots of the clothes in Martshalls and TJmax and places like that are "blems" that were rejected at the retail store. Like, say Tommy gets a pair of jeans that have a slightly different stitch in the seam on one side........boom......off to Marshalls!

The quality is just as good as a department store but the items arent always in style and it's harder to find things in your size. But other then that they are fine.

i bought this gorgeous bcbg track suit thingy from them, it goes for 100 and something in filenes or other dept stores, but i got both pieces for 30 bucks.
marshalls is like tjmaxx, etcetc...the clothes they have are either leftover from stock, or slightly hemmed incorrectly. either way, they take what was once sold in a store, and sell it in theirs for discount prices.
its not like a savers or salvation army where things have been worn, id say go for it.
