Tough times for those of us without AC. Try putting a cold, wet handkerchief or bandanna on the back of your neck and leaving it till it dries. Drink lots of cold water, iced, with a squeeze of lemon or lime juice. Use a mister or pump spray (like you get with some colognes) to "mist" yourself with water. Rinse your forearms with cool water. I have short hair so I let it air-dry after washing and it helps a lot. (Evaporation is the key). You can also wring out a cotton T-shirt in cool water and put it on and let it dry.
And--from experience of temps up to 124ºF, which is 52º C, if you start feeling groggy and confused, find a place you can go that Does have AC! This is very important--get to a shopping centre, or visit a friend who has it.

Drink cold ice water, go swimming, jump over a sprinkler, eat ice cream, put a cube of ice down your back (lol), Take a cold bath, relax, stay in air condition, um, that's all I know of. There are so many things to do to stay cool. Invent, create, imagine!
Good Luck, and stay cool =)

Place ice packs under your arm. The blood vessels there lead all over the body, so cooling the blood as it travels by will cool the rest of your body as well. You can also place ice packs on your wrists, but it's easier to hold them under your arms.

Stay in an air conditioned environment. Swim in an unheated pool. Remain in the shade.

Have you tried those misters that you hook up to a garden hose? They work real well and you can get them at the Wal-mart for like 5 bucks.

Yeah. Put a bunch of ice cubes inside of a baseball cap, and then put it on your head.
